That seems a little unfair seeing as it was hardly Buzz's fault that the McCallister parents were negligent enough to leave Kevin home alone and then to lose him in New York. But clearly, Kevin still holds a little resentment that his family left him to fend for himself with The Wet Bandits.
If you missed that reference though and another hilarious deep-cut nod to the first movie, we're here to help. Be warned though, there are some minor spoilers ahead if you've not seen the movie yet. Has a security system installed at home, with a sign revealing that it's provided by none other than McCallister Security. But there were others who obsessed over the imagery and decor in the film before, and even pointed out some Easter eggs of their own. That's right, even his clothing represents the colors of Christmas. If you find yourself slapping your forehead in disbelief that you ever even missed these facts, don't feel bad.

Given that many invaders enter the estate by posing as hired help, this Easter egg hints at upcoming events. In Die Hard, thieves take over a Los Angeles skyscraper during a holiday party to steal bearer bonds from the building's vault. This is similar to the holiday home invasion in Violent Night, even though there are debates about Die Hard being a Christmas movie. While Die Hard has NYPD Detective John McClane thwarting these efforts after he is initially undetected by the invaders, Violent Night has Santa Claus step in to save the hostages from the criminal threat.
Returning to holiday-themed films for the first time since National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is Beverly D'Angelo, who co-stars as family matriarch Gertrude Lightstone in Violent Night. D'Angelo played Ellen Griswold in three National Lampoon Vacation films, with the first set during Christmas as extended family visits the Griswolds for the holiday. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, the Christmas season is plagued by a series of mishaps, including the accidental electrocution of an extended family member's cat after it chews on the Christmas tree lights.

It's also good to see that Kevin hasn't lost his sense of mischief, pranking his big brother on a yearly basis. So this year, Google is celebrating Christmas with a bunch of Home Alone-themed easter eggs on its Google Assistant. It's fun to think that a couple of decades later, Kevin hasn't forgiven his family and you can't really blame him since they did it twice. The third narrative layer is Kevin's "Battle Plan" to stop the Wet Bandits from robbing the house. The LEGO designers included nearly every single booby trap from the movie. There's a massive paint can, attached by a string, to the top of the stairs. There's an iron that can drop from the above floor into the basement; The Marv minifigure head is reversible, and has an iron-shaped red imprint on its head. The second narrative layer is evidence of Kevin's life in the McCallister house, now that he has it all to himself. We see empty pizza boxes on the tables and boxes of macaroni and cheese in the fridge.
Shooting in one day before principal photography began, and starring an actor who rushed out of his performance in a local Chicago theater show to make a 10 p.m. The Plaza Hotel has been featured in many movies set in New York, today we look at its significance in HOME ALONE 2. When Kevin first enters the hotel he asks a man where the lobby is. I bet our parents got a kick out of that when they took us to see this movie.

You can see Jason Voorhees' hockey mask, Leatherface's chainsaw, Freddy Krueger's glove, and Michael Myers' mask. While the glove and hockey mask are fitting because Ronny Yu, who directed the movie, also directed FREDDY VS. JASON, it’s interesting that he wanted to throw the other guys in there too. It's actually a short film called Angels with Filthy Souls that was deliberately shot and produced for Home Alone. Just another example of the amount of careful planning and attention to detail that went into this movie. Anyway, many of you probably think it's an actual black-and-white film from back in the day that the studio got permission to use in the movie. But it's also a big reason why this film is dripping with Christmas.
This parody of holiday fare in Scrooged shares many similarities with the action-filled retaliation carried out by Santa in Violent Night. The Karate Kid got the legacy sequel treatment in the form of the television series Cobra Kai, and the results have been extraordinary. So much of a runaway success has the show been that its popularity has surpassed that of the original movie series.
The first layer is the luxurious McCallister house itself, as it was the morning that Kevin's family left for the airport without him. We see the attic with the pullout sofa bed, and odd knick knacks like a random gumball machine, which the family probably bought on a whim, stowed away, and forgot about. Pan di Ramerino sometimes written as one word pandiramerino,Rosemary-raisin rolls. It is not really sweet, but finished with a sugar and water glaze when it comes out of the oven. I have Andrea and we form a great team, we have been living like this for a long time. The film's best connection to the original Home Alone movie comes earlier on though when Ollie's father Hunter is watching something on TV.
